American Media and Mexico

Carreño: When a country is in the middle of the U.S.'s domestic agenda, that country is either hit or bolstered. There are two important issues in the U.S. that involved Mexico: immigration and security, and in those two issues, Mexico is taking a very hard hit.

There is a lot of noise, there is a lot of debate. He said there's a lot of noise and scandal about Mexico but all about nothing.

The Mexican media is perhaps harsher toward the Mexican government than the American media is.
